I have a vivid memory from when I was about 4 or 5 years old of walking by a local stream (the stream was about 110 miles inland from the sea) and I saw a black lobster, alive in this shallow stream. I know this is a true reccolection but can anyone tell me if there are such things as freshwater lobsters and whether they can survive in the UK? because I can never understand whether it wasnt some kind of hallucenacion, but I am certain that I saw it.

Someone saw a super duper crawdaddy....don't tell the Lousianans..they'd come with their steam pots and hot sauce.

I still have a vivid memory of when I was 4 or 5 years old and seeing ants the size of of a small cat, but I have to attribute that to my overactive imagination at the time.

After doing a little research about Europeon crayfish, nothing worthwhile showed up about giant ones in that region.
