If I choose to freeze them, can I just throw them in the freezer in the regular zip lock bag they are in, or is it necessary to get those 'freezer-burn' preventing ziplocks?
Freezing any kind of fresh mushroom...even the store bought kind, turns them into a gooey mush when they are thawed out.
They aren't fresh though they are dry. I just want to prolong their potency for another month or so at least.
