What about the remake of the Dawn of The Dead. I thought it was reallly good, lots of gore and the zombie makeup was definetly grotesque. The scene where the guys wife has the zombie baby was priceless.

I liked it. I'm not a zombie fan, they actually scare me and the fact that they could run and jump in the remake was a total nightmare.

I appreciated that everyone who was involved with the original were involved in this version. It's one of the few remakes I liked.

It wasnt as bad as most remakes, but it definatly wasnt that great, the whole zombie baby thing was an unnecessary subplot.

the original was better, unless you want gore, then go to day.

    Jesus the Jedi,

The original movie was better but the stage blood left a lot to be desired

I prefer the original :D I like cumbersome zombies that flock to shopping malls....

It really is an interesting allegory with The Mall as a haven for the mostly white suburban middleclass.

The slow moving zombies represent the monotony and sameness of the individual.

The original was definitely much better, an all time classic.

I agree with you L_Blazin420...Romero really does rock! This one had lots and lots of gore and the zombie kiddo was really good too

The original's one of best movies of all time. I had this debate with a checkout guy at Best Buy when I bought the Romero DVD; he insisted the remake was better. I haven't seen the remake, but I can't believe that.
