well this is the fault of liberal crime laws and moral decay, if you were to take off a few fingers or a hand say or shoot pickpockets I feel that would deter them from being naughty .

This is why I hate Camden, so full of degenerates. Yeah, it's got a few pretty shops, but the people there are wankers. Reuben got his phone nicked there not long ago. It was funny, because he'd been slagging off everywhere that wasn't Camden for so long, and as soon as he goes back there, he gets pick pocketed....

I'm afraid. I have heard many nice things about Prague, but also some not very nice things too, e.g Czechs are not very accepting towards ethnic minorities etc. This has made me a little apprehensive about living there and I'm going to be there for at least 2 months and maybe longer if I want to see out my year's contract!
However, I must not judge a book by its cover and I should just try and go there with an open mind and maybe I will be very surprised!

Sorry to hear about your incident, glad you didn't actually have something stolen though.

It seems to be a recurring problem that people witness crimes like these but don't say shit. When my last car was stolen (have to specify as I've had 2 stolen in less than a year) a neighbor told us EXACTLY what had happened as the yob broke into the car, broke off the crook lock, and got it started ... but yet, he didn't run out to stop them, call the cops or anything. I don't understand that mentality, personally. Maybe a lot more people would get by with a lot less if people actually spoke up and said something.
