Crafting (knitting) for people in need (ATTN:cerridwen)

hi,
i found a blurb in Life Magazine (it comes with my local sunday newspaper) about crafting for people in need, and i instantly thought of cerridwen.
actually, the article is about a book called "Knitting for Peace" by Betty Christiansen that "compliles groups that use knitted goods for the greater good."

Melonhead, thanks so much for these links, absolutely fantastic Thanks for thinking of not only me, but more importantly posting it here for everyone to read I'm thinking of doing some charity knits in the new year, I always have leftover yarn after my December-holiday knitting, I will most definately contribute to these! I'm sure others will find it just as useful!
