We've all been given a time machines. No, really, time machines ok? ok. I'd personally want to visit the Ice Age and hunt some smilodons with my rifle ...or maybe be a swashbuckling pirate on the high seas amazing downtrodden women with some modern day sex toys! If you could travel to any era in history, where would you go?
The past is always dirty, disease ridden and dangerous, no place for any sensible person. If I had a time machine the only place of interest to me would be the future and I can't say what that would be like.
Begs the question...What did you get up to last Saturday? Rather cliche for a 20-something on a hippie message board, but the 60's would of been great fun! 1966 you could go to Wembley and watch England win the World Cup, and afterwards celebrate by watching Pink Floyd at the UFO Club! You'd have to be rich to pull that off, but that's no issue with a time machine at hand. Would be pretty sweet to see Mozart in concert And there's great appeal if you ask me to go back to a more pagan Britain. Farm your food, brew your mead...Eat, drink and be incredibly merry.
I'd go back to Corona, California in 1951 and buy one of Leo Fender's first guitars. In fact, I'd buy five. Then I'd choose the best of the five to keep and sell the other four when I got back to my own time. I would probably never need to work again
back to 1998, going to all the outdoor psy-trance parties in ibiza (up on the moutains and on secret beaches)... looked great, now they never happen!!!!!!!!!
