Disturbing week (caution, this is upsetting) :(

I live at flat 7... my good friend at flat 5 knocked at my door last Saturday and told me some horrific news.. The werido at flat 6 sexually assaulted his 5 year old daughter (I won't get graphic but it was brutal) and her mother notifiied the police. The guy was arrested and the police took forensic tests which won't be viable for 2 months. The police let the guy go the same day and he came back to his flat.. my neighbours verbally attacked him and his wife started punching him in the face. He left and the police arrived to question us about the incident. The next day the police came around and broke down the pedos door to arrest him again but he wasn't home. My friend at no.5 came out and told the police he will fuck him up if he ever came back to our private block of flats again. My friend at flat 5 is close to the mother and is the only person she can turn too. 12 police officers came the next day and arrested my mate for making threats and locked him in a cell.. mean while the pedo is in a secure house, under police protection... At what stage are people stripped of their human rights? The mother is falling apart and hasn't slept for days. I'm going with my friend tomorrow morning to cook that family dinner and offer our help in any way possible. She has no family to confide in and is suicidal. The most I can do is give my moral support and try to help in some way. I even said to my mate that I thought it was strange seeing the guy taking a 6 year old to his flat each week on his own. He acts weird to everyone on our block and dosen't stop to talk to us. All the neighbours on our block are very sociable but he was always the werido. I don't understand how someone could inflict that on a child. I just can't get my head around it. How can the guy wake in the morning and carry out his daily routine knowing he has physically, mentally and sexually damaged his own child for life? I'm not a parent yet but if I had children I would devote my life to their future. The only thing children have is their parents. I have no idea what to say tomorrow but my friend asked me to come and give my support.. I'm just not sure what I can do. All I can do is just be there and listen. I'm there for her and I'll help out if I can. I believe the baby is still in hospital and has suffered internal injuries. I could kill that monster without a trace of guilt.

yeah, that guy deserves the book thrown at him, but that flatmate of yours, who lives at flat number 5 has no right to threaten that dude. he should be locked up as well, no matter how sick the guy is he is threatening.. he does have a right to a trial, and is innocent until proven guilty...... he will see his due karma.......

My friend was stupid for saying what he did to the police but I disagree with you when you say he should be locked up for it. No disrespect MadCrappie. The police agreed with everything my friend said but had to arrest him for 5 minutes to follow their procedure. Do you really condone monsters of this magnitude? at work we are on the Indigent Defense Program list, kind of like a public defender type thing.
anyways, we always seem to get these cases, and it sucks when the guys actually admit it, and you have to sit there and write all of these motions trying to defend the fucker when deep inside you want the prick to meet big bubba.
