I am Cantonese and i will go to HK around 20th OCt,,this is my first time go to HK alone..i am a bit excited for i will meet my american friend there and we could hand around . wish u will have a good time there . when u will go there ?
Tip: Get out of Hong Kong as soon as possible. In my opinion it is just another uninteresting big city. And a terrible one at that. European almost, with all the people in a hurry and trying to maintain their imagos. As for China, besides the obvious things like the Forbidden City, the Wall and the Terracotta Army I liked WutaiShan and Pingyao, although a bit touristy. And the surroundings of Guilin are very beautiful. As for cities, I found Kunming surprisingly pleasant. Do not visit an art exhibition organised by students who approach you on the street.
i just finished my HK trip and i dislike it very much since ppl so mean to me cuz i am frm mainland china ..so i have to used english the next day so they would treat me better ..the HK ppl so meanie to mainland china ppl .. that s so sad and making me dont want to go there ..but i do like the SOHO there ..many foreigners and good restaurants .. i think HK is nice place for foreigners but not ppl from mainland china ..i actully quiet hate it now .
