Opiate Tolerance, and Wisdom teeth removal..

Ok, so I quit Oxycodone last week.. and I was snorting about 30-40mg a day for 3-4 months (summer).. and I'm doubting that the Hydrocodone (more than likely) I will be prescribed will kill the pain.. Should I advise the doctor that I have a tolerance, or would that just make it so I wouldn't receive Hydrocodone.. (I would prefer 2.5mg/325mg Oxycodone HCl/APAP, which is the lowest dose of Percocet)

 

Yeah if you admit that you have a tolerance to a narcotic, no narcotics for you.

 

I got my wisdom teeth pulled about a year ago, it really wasn't all that painful... I didn't take anything stronger than Ibuprofen 600mg.

 

Yea when I got mine out, they gave me Vicodin before the surgery because mine were way fucked up, and I took them all, plus 1 more perscription before my surgery, so when I actually had them removed, they reufsed to give me more pills! But really, it only hurt for about 4-5 hours, then it was just a regular pain, not even as bad as when they were impacted and infected. It's nothing anybody cant deal with, just drink some shots and smoke some weed to relax, make sure you have people around to help you the initial day and possibly the day after, and try not to think about the pills if you run out
Trust me it's not that bad, when my lung collapsed, they misread my x-ray and told me nothing was wrong, and I didnt get shit! Now that fucking hurt

 

DAMN! That would suck, and I would've sued RELAYER Thanks man, I thought it was gonna be really bad pain.. (I still have the mindset that pain will be like the withdrawals because that's the last pain I've had that was bad)

 

Well, they sent me home, then called me the next day and offered an operation, but I was like, uh no, I have no insurance. So they shot me up with Demerol and gave me 2 perscriptions over 3 days to percocet. But I dont think I could have sued, since my condition didnt get worse, it just stayed the same. Plus I dont belive in suing anyway

 

Everybody is different, if your teeth are badly impacted, removal will probably suck. Only one of mine was impacted, and that was the only one that actually hurt. At the time I wasn't tolerant to opiates or much of anything, so a blunt of decent nugget and a couple vicodins made me forget I even had them out.

 

Dont snort hyrocodone kids. That shit is packed with acetaminophen which is not nice on the liver. Sure I did it once. Maybe twice. Cold water extraction is the way to go with that synthetic crap. Mix the water with Jack and Grape Kool Ade

 

yeah, that'd be stupid, I was snorting OxyContin.
