Arg... the first snow of the season. Granted, it isn't much, but it's snow nonetheless! oh so sad, I miss summer....
Eh, it's been snowing here for the past couple days. I looked out my window yesterday and it looked like a whiteout and then I looked again like 5 minutes later and it was clear as can be! Dang snow! I'm not read for 6 months of winter! Where oh where did the summer go?

yup, got some flurries last night in chicago. if the winter will be as wet as spring, summer and fall have been we are gonna get quite a bit of snow. hooray!
I know exactly how you feel A few years ago we had an early season snowfall (before I had an opportunity to rake the leaves) and by next spring my whole lawn was fucked Those heavy acidic maple leaves covered my lawn (which in turn were covered by snow all winter) vaporized my ordinarily lush green lawn. I'm seriously thinking about moving.....my friend from Nicaragua says the coolest it gets there is like 75 degress.....hmmmm think I can master espanol by the time winter seriously is here?!
YAY! I love winter...I can't wait for it to get cold and snow! It got down in the 30's lastnight! I'm excited.
And yet just today Daysye and I were (well yesterday really) in bathing suits on the beach and went swimming... by the time we got home it was FREEZING and we have our first frost advisary. We were only two and a half hours away also. Craziness.
ah well, i don't miss sore throats, but i sure do miss the magical way snow burries all the trash and crap and carelessness of people. so bundle up warm and throw a snowball for me. heavin would be being able to sit in my nice warm living room and watch the rotory snow plows go by on the railraod through my own window. =^^= .../\... =^^= .../\...

Cool!!! It's snowing up in the LA mountains today too. I am going to go stay with my friend tonight who just bought a house up there, he says there are just flurries right now but hopefully we'll be sledding tonight! snow is rare for me...so I get super excited.
No snow here in Saskatchewan! Hell, it's supposed to get up to +9C today (positively warm for mid October). We'll probably get snow within the week before Halloween, seems to be the tradition of things.
