Kennny, relax and blaze a fatty. I welcomed digidj & smokindude's support because we've had major disagreements here. I know lots of people who've tossed bullets into a fire, including my great great grandpappy The Lone Ranger. I've tossed bullets into a fire before. Contrary to popular belief, they do not (at least the 3 times I've done it) shoot the lead part like from a gun. For a slug to travel as from a gun requires a barrel of some sort that will restrict gas discharge in all but 1 direction, which propels the slug. When I threw bullets into a fire (and we hid behind tree's, deep in the woods) all that happened was we saw a small flare-up when the bullet got hot enough to ignite the gunpowder, and a "pffft" sound. The next day, in cleaning out the fire pit, we found the slugs a few inches from where we had tossed the bullets.
kenny, First off it is nice to have new members, especially seasoned veterans to add insight which is often needed here, hopefully we'll see you around a lot. However, in digital's defense, the last few months and especially the last few weeks we've been experiencing, as he stated, an influx of morons to these forums. With these have been an excess of foolish posts and stories. Some of these kids (yes most of these come from 14 and 15 yr olds) have put their age in as 30-somethings to attempt to gain credibility. Yes, when I saw your initial post about disagreeing with one of the most knowledgable forum regulars from a new guy with a couple posts I was unsure. So imo, that's where digital was coming from, he may have his own take and I could be entirely wrong. But regardless, welcome.
how can one plant progress so much based on nature in the pass what? 40-50 years? thats not even a blink of an eye for mother natures progress. it would take a pretty damn long time for cannabis to be natrually more potent.(learned about that in Science. yes my science teacher is fucking awesome) I am not saying that we havn't found many new strains since then with alot more potency because of course that is true. BUT, i am not talking about the strains that were crossed and produced by scientist nowadays. Im just saying, in Mother Nature's court, anti-potters have no chance at all. and Kenny, welcome to hipforums. like theshow said, we need more wisdom, than idiots in the forums. expecially these days.
thanks guys.but by the way for the last 2 in a half years rangerdanger and few other respected moderators in our other forum has taught me alot more than i thought id ever know about weed . and in saying thatrangerdanger it was i believe 38 cal bullets which are made of metals i can see a shotgun shells plastic melting and going pooof but with the metal heating up on a rifle bullet your almost gueranteed a boom . ps at the time we did do this as soon as we through them in the fire we did run n hide and watched for about a half and hour before we had the nuts to come back and finish our bottle . it was when we passed out when we heard the bullets going off .sorry im trying to make this short but had to get it off my chest . but ps i totally understand djs attitude now that i was informed on purpose we have alot of minors come in our forum too and i will not reply to no questions of theres besides go ask your mother im sure she will give you an answer.
I just noticed.. that every thread thats started on here now just escalates into an argument. It used to be entertaining, but now its just getting out of hand. Fuck you all. And good night. =]
Idc if you just said fuck you to me but i just needed to say somethin.. WHAT THE FUCK IS UP SIRTOKESALOT, havent seen you post here for a while bro, i miss your sarcastic comments man. Forums arnt that bad, dont turn your back on us yet.
Umm yes it does, he is telling people to stop saying weed today is way more potent (shut up), and it has obviously upset him thus warranting a FUck you. Then the discussion turned to our opinions, rather fitting.
I find it hard to believe that potent weed was just as readily available as it is to your children today. Not calling you a liar, but it's pretty evident that there wasn't much indoor operations going on in the 70s, and most people I know in real life who were around back then all say the same thing: there was good weed and bad weed just like today, but the good weed was nowhere near as plentiful as it is today. Well IDK how much you know about the history of growing, but a lot of the weed back then was pure sativa. When indica hit the scene, it kind of polluted the gene pool. I've heard from people who were doing their thing back then that the weed will never really be that good again unless you can get some hardcore old school landraces.
I don't know what weed cost in the mid-60s. but if you take inflation into account 50 bucks today equates to 8 in '65.
