Man, Blues Traveler puts on some show! I just saw them live in NYC and it was one of (if not the) best shows I have ever seen - and I've seen some good shows. There's no comparison between their studio and live music. Their energy is amazing - If they play near you go see them!

I just got back from one of their shows. They are freaking amazing! Those guys can really put on a good show. The entire crowd was just feeding off their energy. It was awesome. Tons of fun!

I hear a lot good about them these days. Haven't seen them since John was fat.
Are they still pulling a family crowd, or are they a trip into a different world crowd-wise?

There were some families there last night but I don't know if that's normal for most of their shows or not. It was a really fun show. One of the bands that opened for him did an insane cover of Fire On The Mountain. Those guys put on a pretty good show for just a local band.

shesh, we went thru a phase of making shirts for performers (hey it paid off: three cheese stage sets and a Yonder) and Poper took a 5 (five!) X shirt and it still rode up his belly.
    Shopping for that T-shirt I discovered 10 X shirts. I've seen five-man tents smaller.

I haven't seen them since John was still fat either. That had to be like 10 years ago at the Warfield in SF. I traded a joint to the roadies and they walked me in an deposited me right up front. Way high energy. (I did wonder if John was going to explode at some point). Good to hear they are still going at it.

I remember when John was in a wheel chair for like 2 years, if you think they are hot now, you should have been on the scene in the early 90's in new york city.
