In town 6Th-13Th,looking for some music

My wife,myself and our 18 yr old son will be in Amsterdam Nov.6-13 for our 25Th anniversary.Any chance of catching a good band or two?This is my second trip to Amsterdam this year.My son and I both smoke pot and we will be looking to see a band while in town.I know that the Paridiso hosts some hot bands.Any other places or good bands in town at this time?We have a two bedroom apartment on the Singel rented for the week.I'm 51 so I do like rock music,and volume and smoke are not a problem.

i'm actually going to be in amsterdam during that time pretty much just for this band. (well obviously not just for them). anyway. at the Melkweg Nov 9th. the band Peeping Tom. lead singer is Mike Patton of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle fame. the music is rock and trip hop. very entertaining, especially if your smoking.
i suggest checking it out.
