i read this same thread somewhere else, but i just re-read the article and noticed that "its commonly regarded as a weed" in southwest asia or where ever that was. i didnt know that... thats kinda interesting.

The first two were the same article, I believe from american news sources (CNN and reuters) this new one is a bbc article which tends to be a superior news source.
