hey everyone i just became a veggie about a month ago and i love it so far. except for all the questions
been veggie over 20 years & i can tell u the questions are outta total ignorance but in my circles of frends its more odd to find out someone eats meat so i guess i dont come across that too often its just people & theyre lifes choices..& its not your place to convince them..or theyres to convince you the better man is the 1 whos happy with theyre choices & feels no need to question others on theyres
Most meat eaters are ignorant of a veg*an diet. It is best to do a lot of research so that you can educate someone with facts and studies when they ask. If they don't want to be educated they will stop asking. Most people that ask me are atleast mildly interested in knowing if you can be healthy on such a diet.
Hey man, never feel that way. That's how they'd probably like you to feel, but you've made your choice and you're damn well sticking to it. That's worthy of respect - if they're too ignorant to see that, stuff 'em.
Congrats on the switch. The questions thing will probably blow over soon, once they get used to it and understand your commitment.
i get the same thing from everyone i encounter. it's hard to ignore them. so inform yourself. i would go to peta, and download the vegetarian starter kit for adobe acrobat. they don't really send you anything, it's just a really informative in depth look at why people should become vegan/vegetarian. it has specific facts about and for teens as well. it helped me out alot. if you don't have acrobat, just bookmark
Frankie-doll, soon you will pass a month and edge toward vegetarianus obbsessious, where YOU will have questions that make the omnis feel small. dm former Riff Raff
