i do believe imma smoking hydro tomorrow

so is hydro weed grown from water and have an increased THC level? i believe thats what i heard...but i wasnt sure...

 

hydro is short for hydroponic which is a form of indoor growing. the plants sit their roots in water and everything is mechanically controlled so its very close to perfect weed (correct me on that not positive). its generally really good shit, but it all depends on strain and hydro doesnt really guarantee good smokage. chances are though, that u will be tokin some good shit

 

i perfer to smoke organic but IMO hydro is just more fun to grow.

generaly when people say hydro, they are refering to good bud, weather it was grown hydroponicly or not.

 

hydroponic gardening can be done both indoor and outdoor. your correct, the plants roots are in water, but the water contains a controlled nutrient solution.
the technique is great in the fact that the grower can provide the plant with exact amounts of the different nutrients the plant needs. also disease is is more easily controlled when growing hydroponically.

one important thing that needs to be done when growing marijuana hydroponically is, flushing. before harvest, the plant needs to be flushed of excess nutrients, otherwise the taste of the bud will be less then quality.

 

yea thats true^^. and often, at least in my area, although the weed is technically grown hydroponically, its done very carelessly and quickly, and its cured poorly, making hydro pretty much just as shitty as any other mids youll find.

 

from all the hydro i've ever smoked, the bud has been nice and fluffy stuff, and high has been real nice.

for the place i get bud, hydro is the second best kinda weed you can get next to the stuff i'm smoking now, NYC diesel.

 

As stated, hydro is not a strain but a style of growing (although I think some seed bank starting calling one of their strains "Hydro", to cash in on the misconception that hydro is a strain).
Hydroponically grown weed can be either crappy of excellent, depending on a lot of factors.
Hydro is generally better that Mexican dirt weed (schwag) because hydro growers generally take better care of their relatively small crop, and almost certainly treat it better after it's harvested.
Hydroponically grown weed is usually nuted with chem's, which affect the ultimate taste, no matter how it's dryed/cured. However, hydroponically weed CAN be grown with organic nutes.
It takes an educated palate to tell the difference in taste between excellently grown properly flushed hydro vs. soil grown.
But one style doesn't produce more potent weed than the other.

you probably have smoked hydroponically grown weed before veroness. i know you used to get headies and some sticky, so, some of that may of been from a hydro grow.

 

all i ever smoke is fuckin hydro, everyone who grows around here is either too Asian or too lazy for outdoors lol

 

my one trip so far to Vancouver, I was shocked at the number of asians there. Granted I'm sure a lot of them were tourists but I was still overwhelmed.

everyone who always comes here always says there are so many asians, since i live here i dont really notice anymore, and as the majority of my friends are asians as well

well i told you guys how im going to smoke well today was the day until i smoked a lot today with my two friends and well im all smoked out. i want to fully enjoy it the high but i feel kinda like i did enough for today...maybe my attraction to weed has turned down a bit, but i still love smoking. so i might late late tonight or tomorrow after work

 

lol, 95% of indoor grows are done by Vietnamiese in vancouver, and thats saying alot considering in my old neighborhood [which all houses were worth 500,000+] police estimated every 4th house was a grow op

anyways, i say "too asian" just for the fact that all these grows are setup to pump out as much bud as possible in the shortest amount of time for the quickest turn over, all of these people couldnt be bothered to take time on outdoors lol
