Young offenders should be beaten untill they know what they did was wrong.

I fucking hate it when i hear about some young dipshit 12 yr old only getting a little councelling for his crime.....councelling never did anything for nobody!

take the little shithead, beat him senseless and tell him it will be worse the second time if he ever gets caught again doing something dumb.

i did crime as a kid because i knew nothing could happen to me...they teach kids in school about how nothing will happen to you...stop that !!

    fuck a young offender......

Sounds like a great plan. Scar a child's mind with violence, that way he can grow up to beat on his woman and his kids.

I say we beat the piss out of you for not using your noggin.

Yeah...violence is the answer to everything

That way we can teach him that hitting someone will solve the problem...

    Hmmm, good idea...*sheesh*

    Little excessive I would think.

The problem with the young offenders act is that there is not a two tier system for handling non violent acts and violent acts.

It should be reworked that if there is violence of any kind it is tried as an adult.

I do not think that some silly kid who breaks into an empty building and steals something should necessarily be haunted for life over it.

Kids generally do grow up and stop the nuisance crimes.

It actually helps if one spells it correctly. :) COUNSELING. Counseling helps. I don't know about "councelling" though. Usually, people who rag on psychological help, are those who refused to admit they could actually be at fault at all, and rejected it. One has to WANT to get better.

Yes, it helps. It needs to be done properly. If the child is getting help, and still getting beaten at home, then it will take a lot more help to get the child to become a valued member of........anything.

I dunno, ya'll. I gotta keep it real. I saw a couple of girls in high school that talked alot of shit, like they were all big and bad, but then they ran into someone who was actually big and bad. Once they got beat up, their attitude did improve....hehe.

The FBI has done and continues to do major research into the prevelance of childhood abuse in violent offenders since the 50's up untill today.

Every single year, first time and repeat violent offenders were exposed to chilhood violence 85-90% of the time. Mostly at the hands of family.

Beating the hell out of children is a good way to raise a sociopath.

I dont believe in beating children....but I also take offense when a criminal pleads the abuse excuse for the cause of his bad behavior and uses it as a way of copping out for his own actions.

Since times have changed and the child rules and laws have changed what is the mainstream explaination for the rise in violent crime as well non violent crimes in kids.

Is it mainstream brain-washing? I think so, kids are taught that they have rights.

Now just plain beating a child isnt right, but in the end alot are hard headed and in the end a deserved spanking or even a good beating to a young teen male tends to be a good thing. Respect of a child can be gotten two ways. And if it has to be the "out of fear" so be it.

Im violent by nature its just me, was I beat as a child, no. Have I even beat a child, no. Looking back I dont think is swayed me either way.

But the bottom line is is some of these young sorry ass punk kids who think they are the shit were brought back down to ground level one way or another thing might be different and if takes a harsh beating to get the message across.

Now to all "spare the rod types" how are the majority of the worlds problems solved?

Violence and anger are simply another emotion that can be used or focused in many different ways.
