Sesame Oil

I absolutely love sesame oil... I bought some when I was making some thai food, and now I use it as a substitute to veggie oil while cooking. It has such a great flavour to it... does anyone else use it too?

I love sesame oil. especially in the winter, it's really warming. it's awesome with stir fries

 

awesome with stir fries yep... For a long time I used olive oil instead of veggie oil... but now I just use olive oil for salad dressings.... sesame oil is in virtually all my cooking.

 

Yes, I use sesame oil, too, along with olive oil and canola oil.

 

I'm glad to see I'm not the only weirdo who uses it! Whenever I mention it to someone, they look at me funny because they've never used it...

 

Mmm I love sesame oil! I don't normally cook with it, but I'll drizzle a bit of the dark toasted variety over my bowl of fried rice and it totally rounds out the flavor. Yummy.
