Orchestral metal/hard rock?

    i didnt know which thread to post this in up there so i just decided her cause' i got confused but i was curious if anyone were to know any metal or hard rock bands that include lots of orchestral instruments like cellos, harpsichords...etc. i think that'd sound reallllllllly cool but i have never found any bands like that. if you know any plz tell me id love it thanks ;)

    Try some Blind Guardian, My Dying Bride and Limbonic Art. Very different from each other but all three of them are to some degree symphonic metal bands.

    I agree. The album Stormblast is a masterpiece, but you might like the newer, more modern-sounding albums.

    Yngwie Malmsteen does a lot with orchestral music.
    Apocalyptica is a cello quartet that covers a fair amount of metallica, and does some great originals.

    its not metal, and only a portion of their songs could be considered "hard rock," but you certainly may enjoy rasputina.

    i know i do.
