Just an isolated comment, but I was listening to the 8.9.98 Phish show from Va. Beach, the one in which the encore was Terrapin Station in recognition of Jerry's death anniversary.

I hadan't listend to this show in years, having been caught up in the 03/04 collection, but the "Antelope" was simply incredible. In fact, it was almost too much. The band is playing with such tempo, such energy and frenzy, all the while keeping it in time and choreographed. Only six years before the break-up, but they sounded so raw and tight. "Antelope" can be a pretty furious tune, and I know I haven't listened to my share, but this one seemed to never stop before reluctantly segueing, finally, into the Marco Escuandolas part.

There was also an amazing "Sparkle," the band playing so fast and tight that I had to drop jaws again at how much they had to have rehearsed this and how hard it must be to play at that level.

    God, I miss them.

its going to happen. Trey has repented against what he said in 04. in a recent interview, i'll post later with the source, trey was saying things like "when Phish gets back together..." and he's also said that he wants to get back with them some time in the future......it shouldn't be too far....

i dont understand how people would follow a band, wouldnt you have to buy a ticket for every single show? and wouldnt that cost a bitch load of money?

thats what shakedown street is for, my friend!
and finding a ride is usually not that big of a problem. i am savin for gas money, but my ticket price will be covered at each show on shakedown.

its all about sacrafice. it does cost alot of money to follow them. but you play it right and it won't cost you too much. i followed phish from So cal to the Gorge, 5 shows....and it cost me about $500, with tix and hotel and smoke and food....
