So Riley started to crawl last week. Now, shes almost walking hands-free. Its exciting except for the fact that she is now in EVERYTHING. lol. Shes def. our little trouble maker more so than the boys ever were. Today I decided to let her roam and take some pictures of what happened. She found daddy's art sulplies... anyway, here she is.
awww she's so cute that's awesome that she's already almost walking so soon after she started crawling! did she do other crawl-like things before, like scoot on her butt or anything?
okay... i was just asking because she said riley started crawling last week and now she's almost walking. and i think baby's are cute and the whole crawling/scooting phase is funny and i don't know how your baby learns.
I hope you didn't get offended by him. that was his bad attempt at humor. He thinks shes a fantastic super genious baby (hey, who doesn't about their baby? hehe). Actually I was kind of surprised she didn't do anything else with crawling. When she first started crawling she did it on one leg (one leg had her foot flat on the floor and she kind of did this strange sideways hop, it was so funny). Then she figured out she could do it better on two knees so she started doing that. Now shes speed racer, lol. You put her on the floor and shes in whatever shes not allowed to be in 2 seconds flat. She started to squat then and pull herself up to a standing position. Now, she stands without holding anything for 30 sec- to a minute and then falls on her butt. She likes to sit in that squat position and she just started hopping on her butt yesterday. Today I predict it will be a lot of butt-hopping, lol. Moonflower-She is young, I think... her brothers started early too but I know not this soon. I'm kind of shocked. Shes very small too so its just so weird for me to see. I'm kind of sad too in a way. I love holding her and carrying her around but now she wants to do it all on her own. *sigh* shes an independant one so I'm trying my best to not hold her back.
i'm sorry. i didn't mean to offend you. i was being sarcastic in a sense, but only to say that next week she will probably do something else amazing.
WOW! She's walking at six months? You guys must be BUSY! She's so cute. Sage used to use that SAME laundry basket to push while she walked, too. But, she didn't walk until 15 months, 3 weeks and 3 days........ but whose counting. I think it's so cute when babies just use whatever you have around the house to play and learn. That's the best.
What does she have in her hand in the second picture? I love that when they find the weirdest stuff. MINE!!!!
Extremely busy maggie. She loves wires. I think I am going to have to tack everything on the walls with thumb tacks (wire-wise). She now has a scraped up nose because shes been standing on her own and keeps bumping into everything. The thing in her hand was a little paint, the little stinker was squishing it between her fingers. I can't leave her alone one second. lol
LOL! Paint squishing. My two oldest girls are looking at the babies on the site and lovin on them. The room is filled with "AWWWWWW!!! OH MY GOD, that baby is cute! OMG, I want one!" LOL!
Wow~ She is very young to be doing that! What happened to your baby! She is so damn cute! And looks like she is up to no good on that little face of hers! Keep your eyes peeled on that one! She is growing up much too fast
wow, you have a beautiful daughter. whatch out for those boys when she gets older! She seems to be learning really fast. this is when all hell breaks loose! I remember when my nethew was this age and getting into everything. I had to hide everything.
