I've been hanging out with this girl for about a month now, but we've been talking for about 6 months. We have been hanging out at least 4-5 times per week. Well today she tells me she loves me. I like her quite a bit, but can this possibly be how she feels? Seems like these relationships where 'love' comes into it this early is always headed for the rocks. Any advice is greatly appreciated?

Love is tough... 99% of the time, you just think you love someone.... or you think you're in love with them... I don't know. At 19, you probably aren't in love. I think that you have to really "like" someone for a long time before you love them.... like, when you're totally comfortable around each other and you can say anything and do anything or fart or whatever and it's okay.... that's love. If you get nervous when you hear it or can't say it, I think it's a sign that you aren't ready.

    Good luck, though. :)

i dunno, it depends on the kind of love she's talking about. she might just love you a little bit, or just really feel attuned to you, or just feel a connection. i wouldn't be so scared about it. just be honest about your feelings towards her and don't lead her on. let her know that you appreciate her feelings for you and that you like her lots, but let her know you want to kind of take it slow. me and my fiance fell in love the first night we met. and it's been a hella long time and we're still just as much in love as we were then. i do believe that two souls can just click and know right away. but not always. there are many types and levels of love. i hope all goes well :)
