GET THE KIT OUT OF YOUR HEAD YOU DONT NEED IT.

Okay well most people reccommend natural but I did backcombing just go tp petsmart and buy a dog flea comb and section your hair and all that jazz and backcomb. Buy Dr. Bonner's soap (lavendar is good)

Exactly. There is No Kit Required Here's what you will need:

    Dog comb (from petsmart)

    Rubberbands

Aloe vera gel (from your local wholefoods shop)

    residue free shampoo.

Or you could do absolutely nothing...switch to a residue free shampoo and lose the comb.

Dry your hair... Its really important that you get MOST of the water out... Even better if you get all of it out...

funny i just shake it out a lil (shower b4 bed) & hang it over the headboard & let it dangle behind the bed & takes 24 hours to dry
& in summer i overheat so constantly dump water over my head when itsway hot...

    just keep wax out

^^ Yeah, I always tell people that in winter my dreads (when dry of course) are like an extra layer of insulation to keep my head warm, and in summer they're like built in air conditioning when combined with cool water and a little breeze! :D

But it is a good idea to let them dry as quickly as possible so the water doesn't fester and start mold n stuff growing. Ewww.....

exactly..in winter i can usualy go out in a t shirt or at most sweatshirt & only my hands knees & feet really get cold
i dont mind mine drying slowly usualy tho & never had probs with anything ewwwwwy before
but mine are old & tight & i feel like they never really get wet tothe core unless i'm like swimming for hours or something...& since i usualy only do that when its hot..they dry quickly in the sun
in winter tho i do stay in & pump up the heat on the day i wash em...
