"Pages" get it...not all that funny though. These are young people that have had stellar academic records and have been recommended by a member of congress. That used to be a post of honor for our children to strive for, now it seems it's a market for perverts. Perverts who are protected by both parties and all those in current power. Says a lot for your system doesn't it. YES! Let's spread our brand of democracy and government to the rest of the world. And if they don't want it let's force it on them through war.
I heard something about Foley supposedly coming out today and naming a priest that allegedly molested him 38 years ago. Maybe that will take some of the heat off of him. Too bad Easter and the election season aren't at the same time. The media loves to cover the priest stuff during the month leading up to easter. .
It's pathetic how Foley just came out saying he was molested by a priest as a young teen. Oh, please. Stop with the "pity me" act and take responsibility for your actions.
Even if a person has been abused in the past, to continue the abuse doesn't make it right. If anything he should be more aware of the consequences of abuse. I think the Catholic church can handle the flack, I wonder if the Republican party can handle the allegations as well?
