last ws for the tigers was 84, and they won it then........ last ws for the cards was 04, they lost to the sox...... last time they won was 82 against the brewers, so the cards are due.

that was a nail biter, though, last night, anyone else watch the game?? it was tied at 1-1 pretty much the whole game until the 9th inning when molina hit a homer......

and then wainwright came in to save it...... he had the bases loaded there at the end, with carlos beltran up, and he struck him out looking...... so awesome

    madcrappie,

Were you equally as scared a couple of years ago during the St. Louis vs Red Sox World Series, or was the series over so fast you didn't even get a chance to pop-in that first Lexapro

Detroit's pitching is better than St. Louis' hitting. Sorry to say it but Detroit will more than likely win.............

But at least you can say you guys have been to the big game twice in a couple of years. Unlike my Cubbies. Well, there is always next year (something every Cubs fan says).................

Poor little Endy Chavez. Makes one of the greatest defensive plays in postseason history and it turned out to be for nothing. Actually, that's not true. That catch did keep the Mets within distance in the bottom of the 9th.

When he made that catch, I honestly thought the Mets had the game in the bag. Good stuff usually happens to the Mets during the postseason

Pitching IS the name of the game..And the Tigers have got a great starting rotation & bullpen...Along with a solid offense..They are the favorites to win it all,but ANYTHING can happen this is BASEBALL!

    I'm rooting for the Cards!
