So I went out to check the mail a little bit ago and there it was. All large and green, I couldn't believe it finally arrived. It took longer than usual. Hurriedly, I opened it up, got out my trusty black pen and I carefully and perfectly filled in the small oval. I did it, it is official, Amendment 44 for the legalization of one ounce in Colorado officially has one vote with hopefully many more to follow. We'll know in 19 days if it passes, and if all goes well, December 7 will be the date of limited worries. Just thought I'd share...
oh man, HOPE IT PASSES. every single other state/country loosening its grasp on pot is an example to other states/countries- who will eventually follow, even though this propably will not affect me in the NEAR future, i still feel happy at heart.
Wow man, this is great. Let's all dedicate our next session for legalization in Colorado and hopefully the rest of the world one day soon.
rest of the world will not work, religion is a big factor in certain areas, religion will never be wiped, way too many people are faithfull, and so their laws will stay. im not sure where (i think arabia) u get executed if they find mj or hash or anything on you. but legalisaton is the WAY forward...
Both states have legalization on the ballot. Nevada will allow it to be sold in Gov't shops at high tax rates. Colorado legalizes one ounce for those over 21 to possess and use in private.
last November, the City and County of Denver legalized the possession of ounce by 21 yr olds but it still was against state law. 99% of personall possession charges occur at the state and local level so this will be a good move for the state. SAFER (www.safercolorado.org) was instrumental in the Denver decision, and once again they've talked the cause this year on a broader scheme. Eventually they want to take it beyond personal possession but small steps.
oh wait! duh! i knew that (that it was just denver and not the whole state) god damn, what's wrong with my head good thing i'm takin' a break
make that two votes! i filled out my moms ballot for her because she knows less about the issues than i do. so.... two down, several million to go
my town has decriminalized the weed due to other problems such as heroine, crack, meth and such . but can't imagine a day where it's... allowed
lol uh no they dont execute you man...im not sure what they do...but its not execution..iv lived in saudia half my life*i didnt smoke then tho* & those arab's are nutss
dude when i was a kid..we were liveing in this town in saudia called al-baish...& this one time when i was out with my dad..we saw a guy being wipped on the street he was proven guilty for rape.i think it was fair...
If only Canada would go through with legalization. Actually, it doesn't really make much of a difference to me, legal or not.
