Well I've had people call me gay... in a negative way, especially with some family members and the neighbors. I guess it's because I never date anyone and I spend most of my time with my girlfriends. Really I don't date because I'm afraid of getting hurt. As for my real sexuality, I think I'm bi, whatever, doesn't matter.

Everyone said when I came out that they thought I was the last person they would think might be gay. People always assume im straight it irritates me, but its funny at the same time because I hear girls say "OH HE WAS LOOKING AT MY BOOBS!!!!" all the time in the mall and stuff and its funny because obviously I wasnt checking her out...

A lot of people that I know very well suspect--because I have never had a girlfriend in the five or so years that they have known me--and ask, but I just say 'no', and that's enough. I've only come out with one wonderful person who said she would have never guessed, but she was totally cool with it.

No one has ever asked me that didn't intend to have sex with me. As I've said in different posts, I don't fly the flag, I don't march in the parades, I don't wear rainbow themed tees, and I don't woryy about it.

I have seen some eyebrows shoot up when I'm with my girlfriend in public though, usually from people I know.

Oh man. I came out when it wasn't alright to be gay in my school/town. Meaning you get jumped and shit. So I didn't say much about it after that until high school and everybody grew up a little and accepted it.

But pretty much people have always guessed. I dress/act/look like a man, and as of lately they'll see me with my girlfriend. At a first glance most people would think I'm a guy anyhow, which is fine with me. My friends see me as well...not a female. And personally I see myself as male, except for the rather unavoidable evidence that I'm not technically and physically a guy, which I wish I could get rid of. People accept it now, like, yeah..shes gay. End of story.

[font=&quot]I had that problem. I'm gay, but when I was 14, I thought I was bisexual because I had a slight attraction to one girl. I let word get around about my sexuality and it was a HUGE mistake. A LOT of the students took it the wrong way in their immaturity as we were only in 8th Grade, and I eventually ended up in the Psychiatric ward on suicide watch. I was teased and picked on about my sexuality to the point that I wanted to kill myself. I can't even IMAGINE how they would have taken it if they knew that I was actually gay. After that, I switched schools and rarely ever spoke to any of the students in my old school again.

The students in the new school eventually found out, but I had to tell them first because I didn't APPEAR to be gay to them. They couldn't figure me out. I even had a girl walk up to me in gym class and tell me that her friend thought I was cute. They took it much better than the students in my old school did. Students from my old school that I do meet these days don't seem to care. They don't even ask about it.

Nowadays, people who don't know me and meet me assume that I am straight. I don't seem to throw off any gay vibes at all. I don't broadcast my sexuality to hardly anyone and very few people in my family are aware that I am gay. Many of them are Conservative-minded and would probably freak out if they knew. And those that might take it well, I don't tell either because I don't feel they need to know.

One of my friends thought I was straight and one day she saw me wearing a pin with rainbow-colored cats on it. She told me that I shouldn't wear that as people might think I am gay. And when I told her I was, she was rather surprised.

Yep. I rarely talk to anybody I knew back then because they stay away from me...saying i've changed so much and shit. Sure I've changed my appearance alot since then and look more likea guy than ever but that doesn't mean im gonna 'corrupt' anybody, turn them gay, rape them...that's what they seem to think. jesus christ. Back in 7th grade was when i came out and the one girl i said i liked was what got everybody talking. i was dumb to mention it, because there wasnt a single person who stuck up for me, except this one kid who's bi and understood at the time. To this day we're good friends because of that.

Thanks for the welcome guys =) I'm glad theres a forum where I can be open about being gay and stuff. Its great to get to talk about it like its not taboo.

Nobody would ever know unless I told them. Or if they thought really hard about it.
