    its verry common yes
in fact i've heard reports of nearly painless childbirth using herb
i think every woman who suffers from especialy bad cramps should qualify for medical bud

i get them pretty bad too so bad that my doctor let me go on birth control because its said to reduce cramps and shorten it.

the maryjane helps too, but i dont want to become to dependent on it...but then again it helps, so i think its fine to do:0)

u cant exactly be dependent on it
and if it helps use it

if your worried about smoking too much just use it medicinaly only..a few joints a month when u really need it

and yea i think alotta docs would gladly suggest its use medicinaly for cramps

Well it doesn't exclusively work in one way, just because you're using it for one thing. I was put on birth control as a teenager for my cramps too and after(and during) my use of bc I got some side effects I really didn't like. But the scariest stuff happened after I stopped using it, and it was not period related at all. My cramps were fine for years afterwards, then they started up again.

I started using herb for it and it works really well... but if I've been eating badly it can get worse right before it gets better, so I make sure to eat well around that time of the month, and eat healthy munchies! ;)

I sure do it. I get really bad cramps, can't move, wake up 5-10 times a night, etc. So far, I've gone 4 months without Advil or anything else because I HATE taking it (only ever did during "that time") and my husband has been nice enough to make absolutely SURE we have a decent amount/can get it around that time.
I mean, I smoke a lot anyway, but making sure it's around when you need it is definitely a huge advantage.
