Last night the weather was cold and my feet although snuggled in my lovely striped socks, were cold as ever! So while watching "Jaws" I crocheted myself a pair of slippers.... 20 minutes, that's all it took.

    L hook
worsted weight yarn ( 2 strand held together)

ch 2. 6 sc in first ch. join

ch 2. 2 hdc in each stitch around. join.

ch 2. 1 hdc in next st. 2 hdc in next st. repeat around. join.

ch 2. 1 hdc in each ch around. Do this till toe area is the length you want.

ch 2. hdc in next 14 sts. turn and continue this till foot area is length you want. You want the slipper to fit snug, so when you get to the heel, put right sides together adn slip stitch shut.

Do a row of sc across the top of the slipper to finish the edge. You can add a strap by starting on one side and making it 2 sc wide then slip stitching it to the opposite side.

Ta Da! fast and easy maryjanes in 20 minutes.
