i'm hand making shopping bags for my shop, and i want to sew the shop's logo onto the bag. how do i get the logo onto fabric? note: i am extremely 'unsaavy' when it comes to using the computer. another thought: could i stamp the logo on? like, go to the print shop and get a stamp made up, then get ink and actually stamp it?
the easiest for doing it over and over (think of replacements) is to get an image file and use photo transfer paper. Talk to your camera store geeks about this. have you thought of poor man's silk screening? embroidery hoop, silk fabric and mod podge?
hmm...photo transfer paper. the embroidery hoop seems very time consuming. but i'll look into the photo stuff. thanks for the input!
Are these bags for the shopper to buy, use like a basket or what? if you are hand sewing the bags, cafe press won't be able to help you. you 'd need to buy the canvas bags from them. THey are great as on-demand screeners, but that's all they do.
good point. yes, i'm creating shopping bags from scratch. thanks for the heads up. by the way, i'm psyched about the whole idea. these bags will be great for the bread we sell.
