How much does one fresh (12"X3") san pedro cactus cutting weigh?

And on average what percent of the cactus is water? Ive read that it's 75% and 94%.

Take the average specific gravity as approximately that of water (a reasonable assumption) use the old math pronlem of pi x the radius squared x the length (to get the volumn of the cylinder of cactus) gives about 85cubic inches. 85 cubic inches divided by 231 cubic inches (the volumn of a gallon) times 8.3 the weight of a gallon of water in pounds = about 3 pounds.

Of course, it isn't a strict cylinder.
Also, I believe you can over/under water them which could alter density.
And a top cut will be tapered, having less material than a 12" center cut.
