This has been a pet project of mine, and I have finally finished it.
    A Buddhist Rosary:
These prayers are for the most part based on the Christian Rosary, and the form for using the beads is identical.
To learn how to use the rosary follow this link.
    now,
In the name of the Father...
    becomes
    Buddham Saranam Gacchami
    Sangham Saranam Gachhami
    Dhammam Saranam Gacchami
    I Believe in God...
    becomes
I believe in the lineage of Buddhas, The great enlightened teachers. And in the Bodhisattvas, their disciples, who are filled of love and compassion, born again and again to save sentient beings, and can become enlightened, but postpone it. Kshitigharba descended into hell and rescued suffering beings there. Someday all shall achieve enlightenment and sit at the sides of other Buddhas. I believe in the Dharma, The Sangha, the works of Bodhisattvas, the effects of karma, reincarnation, and of true peace in Nirvana.
    Our Father...
    becomes
Praise be to the Buddhas, who dwell in utter joy, glory to your teachings. May all beings be filled with love, and may they all follow your teachings. May we be content with the teachings today, and may others love us as we love them. May Mara find no foothold, but merely a wall
    Hail Mary...
    becomes
Praise to the goodly queen Maha Maya, full of light, the teacher was born through you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Sakyamuni. Holy Queen, Mother of the Buddha, Pray for us trapped in Samsara, now and at the hour of our death.
    Glory be...
    becomes
Glory be to the Dharmakaya, Nirmanakaya, and Samboghakaya. As it is in the Buddha-womb, so shall it ever be, the world without end.
    Oh my Jesus...
    becomes
Avolekiteshvara, help us to overcome karma, lift us from hell and deliver us to peace, especially those who bear hatred towards us.
    Hail Holy Queen...
    becomes
As one upon a rocky mountain standing,
Beholding all the people round about him.
Plunged in their grief, by birth and age o'er powered
Even thus, o thou with wisdom-filled, ascending
To the palace of the Dharma, all beholding
Look down, thou, griefless one, upon the people
Rise up, o hero, victor in battle!
O caravan leader, free from debt, go through the world,
May the lord deign to teach the Dharma,
There are those who will understand.
    O God...
    becomes
    Everything changes, everything Passes,
    Things appearing, things disappearing,
But when all is over- everything having appeared and having disappeared
    being and extinction both transcended
Still the basic emptiness and silence abide
    and that is blissful peace.
    The mysteries:
    Monday/Sunday: The birth
    Decade 1 Queen Maya's dream
    2 The birth of Guatama
    3 Marriage to Yasodhara
    4 Disaffection with life
    5 Birth of Rahula
    Tuesday/Friday The four sights
    Decade 1: Age
    2 Sickness
    3 Death
    4 A monk
    5 Guatama's departure into asceticism
    Wednesday/Sunday: The enlightenment
Decade 1: Studying with other Teachers
2 Aceticism with the five friends
    3 Leaving the River
    4 Arrival at Bodh Gaya
    5 Enlightenment
    Thursday: The teachings
    Decade 1: The first Sermon
2 Assembling the first 60 monks

    _____________________________________________

I suppose. However, the Vajrayanists have done various sadhanas for aeons, and so they might know a thing or two.

I suppose I'm saying that Buddha preceeded Jesus and one needent add some 'other' mysteries or system when one is already in place and effective.

You might enjoy looking into the "rosary of skulls" used in Shingon Mikkyo. I think you'll find it interesting whether personally useful or not.

Who was the prominent man in the 19th century who wanted to close the U.S. Patent Office, saying "everything has already been invented"? He may have been more right than he knew.:)

(PS - That is NOT to throw cold water on your idea, it's a good one.)
