I gotta get my wisdom teeth taken out. I remember when my brother got his taken out they gave him vicodin for pains and stuff. Have any of you gotten your wisdom teeth taken out? Did they give you pain meds? I'm kinda looking forward to it for the gas and the possible pain meds.

I got my wisdom teeth extracted (all four were buried, minor surgery was necessary) in may of this year, and although the actual operation wasn't too fun, um, neither were the meds, hehe. I just got some regular analgesics (paracetamol), antiswelling, antibiotics and some enzymes to hasten the healing. although I'd tell you not to smoke for a while for at least a week, two best. I ended up smoking like a week and a half later, because a friend that lives out of state visited, and we toked. It was weird being high and feeling the stitches in my mouth, freaky, not to mention how it felt to have my mouth completely dry! good luck man, and just chill

I got my wisdom teeth out a couple years ago, they actually gave me percs because the teeth were impacted in my gums so they needed to be cut out which was painful like you dont know..then this year i had to get me uvula and tonsils taken out..the doctor prescribed me OC's, Percs, and liquid vicoden..and if u have tried liquid vicoden i suggest you try, it takes u outtt

I've had the liquid vicodin. I got a bottle of Tussionex and drank the whole bottle for a grand total of 120mg of hydrocodone. Needless to say, I was fukt up.........for 15 hours, because it was time-release;)

Yea liquid Vicodin is ok, the pills are too weak though. I got 2 perscriptions too vicodin when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, except I took em all before the actual surgery, and really the pain following the surgery is not that bad. All I got was percocet when my lung collapsed, and that pain was MUCH worse. Really, you dont need any pain medication, but hey, I wasnt about to complain ;) Especially since I was planning on buying some that weekend anyway.
Edit - Bwahahaha, my 4,200 post.

honnestly i'd rather have the pain then the pain meds
when i broke my back the pain was more intence then you can imagine
but i tried my hardest to not take any pain meds if i could help it
and id take only as little as i could and stopped em as quickly as i could even though i was still in a ton of pain

i'd rather get a root canal without even novocaine then feel all numb or knocked out
    but thats just me
not judgin anyone else who cant handle alittle pain
just be careful with the pain meds..that shits just nasty and pretty ez to get addicted to
hell i'm always in pain but id never take even a tylenol..only maybe herb or homeopathics if i really really need something

Yea, I hear ya eagle, I know we are not judging here. I never have taken them for pain actually, the only two times I've even been given them by doctors were the two I listed in my post above. I take them for fun, mostly because I dont take any other drugs besides smoking, I use them to bond with people and have a good time maybe once or twice a month. I rarely ever took them by myself, unless it was during the time when I was taking them to induce dreaming (which was crazier than ANY psychedelic I've ever taken ;) ) They are very addictive so I try to keep my distance, because plenty of times I've spent my high on them feeling very guilty for having taken them in the first place.
