batik jerry in the moon

    So I decided to branch out and try a little batik. Its a very time consuming process but the results are worth it! This is one of my first attempts and I couldn't be happier. I kept it simple with just one color of dye but man was I amazed once the wax came off- I'm going to continue to batik- its just too much fun not to! I just put it on my Etsy site if anyone is interested [​IMG][​IMG]

    oh goodness..for a first attempt, that is just wonderful!! Batiking is great fun and very addicting. What type of dyes are you using?

    I used Dharma fiber reactive granules, I prefer it to the liquids.

    I just love the way that turned out. I think that is awesome for your first try. ;)
