PROTEST HUNTINGDON LIFE SCIENCESFOR KILLING 500 ANIMALS EVERY DAY

HLS is a company whose primary business is death and suffering. 500 animals are killed there every day. They are poisoned, they are cut and burned, they have limbs broken and on top of that they have to endure the cruelty of sadistic technicians who have been proven, in 6 undercover investigations, to abuse and torture the animals in their care. No doubt, some of the animals murdered at HLS were born at Nafovanny. Join Win Animal Rights as we commemorate National Primate Liberation Week and educate the public about the cruel primate breeding facility at Nafovanny and their connection to the scum at HLS.

    Date/Time: Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 2:00 PM
Place: 279 Central Park W. (88 St.) - New York City
Home of: Andrew Baker CEO of Huntingdon Life Sciences
At 3:00 PM we will leave this location to visit the homes of executives of key HLS customers in New York City

Just in case you aren't sure if this event is important enough to change your plans, here is an excerpt from Michelle Rokke's Diary of Despair, written to document the cruelty and horrors she witnessed, while working undercover at Huntingdon Life Sciences in East Millstone, New Jersey.

"The dogs from 3328 were sac'ed (sacrificed = killed) today. They had to be brought over from I-wing to the necropsy room. James loaded four to eight dogs in an exercise cage and pulled them over to the main building. The puppies waited in the hall with the dumpster full of bloody garbage bags containing already dead dogs right next to them. The table where the euthanasia is done is directly across from them. The smell of formaldehyde was heavy in the air and by the end of the day, there was blood all over the hallway"
Written by Michelle Rokke, Diary of Despair, Inside HLS

Although Michelle wrote her diary about events that occurred in 1996 and 1997, recent whistleblower reports prove that the same cruelty and abuse is taking place in Huntingdon Life Sciences today. When making your plans for Sunday, October 29th, please consider that there are 70,000 animals trapped inside of Huntingdon Life Sciences right now. Some are violently ill while others pace their cold steel cages and dank concrete pens waiting to be poisoned or multilated for toothpaste or some new chemical or food additive. You are their only hope. Please, please stop whatever you are doing and make plans to join us on Sunday at the home of HLS CEO Andrew Baker. If you cannot join us, you can contact HLS at:

What pharmacutical companies are they afilliated with? I think that would be more to the point. What are we buying that is payed for in this sort of harm to other living creatures. I for one won't buy goods that are produced at the expense of other living creatures.

Sooooo....you don't take any medicines then? Have you had surgery?

Or better yet.....do you live in a house? Animals were displaced and killed for that home. Did you know that your computer/TV/game console contains animal derivatives? How about your car or bicycle? The tires contain animal derivatives.

Your very existance is at the expense of billions of living creatures.

There is a difference between not using animal-tested shampoo and being realistic. If you want to live a long, comfortable, healthy, life...animals are gonna die so you can.

    Deal with it.

That kind of organized cruelty doesn't have to take place in order for us to survive on this planet. Period.

Shoo fly... shoo. This is beyond you. You don't get it and you never will. Not that you deserve an explanation but it's called m-i-n-i-m-i-z-i-n-g ... o-n-e-s... i-m-p-a-c-t. You may have a hard time with that one. I know, it's okay... it's hard for many people.
