hahahahahahha yeah im addicted. but its notlike i stay on for like five hours. two hours a day usually. its a bad thing to be on too long. now. im more addicted to movies myself. uh oh

the same people who become addicted to computers are also the same that tend to abuse drugs, addicted to porn, gambling, video games, sex. some people myself included just have more addictive personalities than others.

 

MIIDAJ, you are correct. The correct category that "computer addiction" would fit into would be "media addiction". That is the use of media items such as computers, books, magazines, radios, and TV's in order to escape from something.

Actually, all of the addictions mentioned are symptoms of a deeper problem. There is a deeper issue at hand that causes a person to crave escape or instant fullfillment.

I am addicted, don't need someone to tell me that

 

i know im addicted. my only sis is away at college. my mom is always at work. im either at work or at college (i commute) where people ignore me. only one girl talked to me andthe only reason why was because she wanted a ride home. so you see, it is because i want to escape, or belong. thats how people become addicted. im damaged now because of my isolation. i cant even go to the grocery store without having a panic attack. i spent 1000 dollars on a laptop so i could keep it in my room and never leave. so yes, i am addicted.
