I have a Bloombox on order to grow (taking the easy way out...) but have a quick question: the Bloombox has a carbon filter during the growing but what happens once you take the plants out of the box and start to harvest and dry and cure them? How do you combat the smell then? I will be growing Northern Lights in an office building in a private office but we just want to know what to expect. Is there an external filtering system I can buy or anything like that?
I think what you're asking is there a system of cleansing the air with no external sources of intake and exhaust. Large department stores sell free-standing room air filters. The good ones have carbon filters and a negative ion generator. They cost abot $100. Odor increases in flowering and can become overpowering during drying. Northern Lights is quite "smelly". You might want to check seed banks for a low-odor strain.
ive downloaded a video about this, it sayd carbon filters will be alltight as long as theire running- but when u open the doors the smell 'leaks' and quickly fills the whole area with strong fresh cannabis odour. it sayd theres special type of airfreshenr thingy u put it on the wall near the door and it neutralises it. im not sure what chemical tab was in it but i will check in a few hours when ive finished downing the video again. also post growth issues in the grow forum- alot more people who know wat theyre talking about
You're growing in an office? Nice, I wish I had somewhere reliable that I could grow indoors and get away with. I would be saving a whole lot of money that way, in the sense that I would never run out of herb.
