My new kitten and one of my dogs have worms and I did the chemmy thing hoping it would hurry up and get those nasty parasites out of them. But alas, it didn't work.
So I was thinking about mixing em up an herbal dewormer, but I'm not sure what amounts of the extracts are safe for animals.. and I can't find a recipe anywhere..
I was thinking of something with black walnut and cloves, and wormwood (like what humans use when they have parasites)

Well if you have a formula for a good dewormer please please let me know... I'd also be interested in ones for horses/other livestock as we will be acquiring some soon

    thankya

Did you try the "chemmy thing" from the store or from the vet? because there is a big difference.

Most pills from vets are pretty good, and I have used pills for worms on both my cats from there.

as for the "natural" way you need to remember that chemicals have a different effect on animals then humans. Also I am a chemist and I can tell you that natural remedies are not always the best, sure some of them help but most pills are made from chemicals derived from plants and with natural remedies you get allot of extra chemicals. So when you use a natural thing you are actually taking more chemicals
