LMAO, already read mckenna's books what's your favorite? Don't need to read trip reports, that's something I spent a huge amount of time doing years ago, and now I have a bunch of my own. Kinda funny here you are talking shit to me, but i've smoked it numerous times, snorted it, drank it in huasca. When you actually smoke it maybe then you can talk shit.

And the friend who saw the alien and was in a stadium with thousands of heads exploding, has eaten half sheets of LSD in his tour daze, he's not making up anything or otherwise trying to convince himself of what he saw. He didn't even know abou tthat commercial til the next day he was at the same friend's house watching the same channel and around the same time the commercial came on. Even on the heaviest of DMT trips, what's going on in 'real' reality is going to affect you on a subconscious level. This is why people like McKenna often trip in the dark with no music.

    This batch is dank too...

ALL drugs go through cycles of acceptance and demonization. the "horrors" of LSD are all myths and propagated cultural bullshit. i'm glad people think LSD is so scary; it leaves more good doses for me.

Syd Barrett merely underscores what most people already know about LSD, drugs in general, and to a larger extent, just about everything in life - it's not for everyone. There's speculation as to whether or not he was schitzophrenic, bipolar, etc and if he was, the band mates have said that the psychedelic experience likely acted as a catalyst to his odd behavior.

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression there, I didn't mean to say the bullshit myths and rumours about LSD - I consider the horrors of LSD to be the bad experiences you can have on it, and those are definitely true.

there are no bad experiences on LSD; there are only experiences.

This is your perception of things, not a fact. If someone considers an experience they had on LSD to be bad, then bad experiences can happen.

yeah if you are on a panic trip I consider part of the trip is bad, cuz it never lasts the whole time I guess...

But, sometimes its ok to have fear, important , so we could say all in all its not a bad experience...if thats what he means
