ok, so i'm workin yesterday mornin, and just happen to run across a certain spot that is nuthin more than a pile of manure and hay in a shaded area by a creek, and just happen to come across a whole shit ton of little purplish-brown mushrooms.....so i pick'em, stick em in a bag and put them in my truck and forget about them til just now.....so i go out to check on them and they've turned to stinky mush...aint that some shit....guess i'm gonna have to go back there tomorrow and get some more.....
Have you taken any post graduate research in mycology? Eating stray things you find on the ground is dangerous buddy, at least get a book.
nah...these were planted....i was just being cryptic...some spores me and a friend ordered last year...
i hear ya....i wouldn't just eat anything i suspect is a shroom until i give some to my neighbor, crackhead steve, and let him try them first...if he don't kill over within 3 days, they should be safe...lol...
you should sell that stinky mush shit to some kids, i bet they would buy it, they would run home and steal money out of their mom's purse heheh i am just kidding...
i just got so busy yesterday working that they completely slipped my mind....plus i picked them at about the same time i was smoking the first of about 3 joints while i was out in the field yesterday, and where i put them in the back seat floor board of my truck they was just out of sight out of mind ya know.....yesterday was pretty hectic....oh well there was only about an ounce or so of them....there were alot more that looked like they were about to sprout up real good.....
Next time pin a note to your shirt or tie something around your finger....poor little mushies..... And I was just reading about a post on a carrot being picked in its prime and eaten......this is far far worse.....picked and not eaten....*sniff*~~~~
One thing that people should know is that fresh picked mushrooms should never be placed in a plastic bag as this doesn't allow them to breathe. This causes the mushrooms to sweat and eventually turn to mush. They should also be stored at cool temperatures.
pressed rat is right. once they're picked as well they start to die and lose there ability to fight off foreign organism so it's very easy for mold to take hold and ruin the psilocybin (sp?)...being wet doesn't help the matter any.
