Actually, cannabis is in a family with hops (yay, beer!), Cannabaceae. Catnip is in Lamiaceae (mint) family. (Sorry, anal plant taxonomist here)
Thanks for the info pink floyd. I am not interested in arguing about it. Simply getting the information out there for the animals is cool by me.
when i smoked pot i did not try to get my animals stoned. in my humble opinion, i don't think it is cool to get your babies stoned. that what my critters are, "my babies". so i view it as getting a little one stoned but, to each his own. living in one of the dirtiest cities in the country, i hate litter. unfortunately, it is one of those things we must endure in an urban area.
I'm still unclear if the OP is talking about CAT litter, or litter in general. I seriously doubt anyone in here would cop to littering, unless they were looking to troll. Hell, I even used to butt my smokes out and pocket them when I was walkin'. I don't understand how our cat litter would make the city dirtier when it goes straight from dumpster to landfill...Which is already dirtier.
I am very against blowing it purposely towards the pet! When we smoke our dog is always in the room though
i dont think dogs realy want to puff nuggets .....hamburgers n fried chicken are the stuff of dog dreams ....
I think it's kind of condescending towards the pets to say "you should never get your pets high". Why should they not be allowed to get high? As long as you don't force it on them I don't see the problem. Make it their choice.
My dog use to eat my stash.... He never liked the smoke in his face, but when he can smell good buds through a bag... he would sniff it out and wobble around for hours... crazy stoner dog....
While I appreciate the sentiment...I do not think I'll make it my cats choice as to whether or not he eats the cigarette cellophane, & envelope windows he has a fetish for. I doubt anyone here would have an issue with giving an animal weed if the health ramifications weren't questionable.
