Yeah I like Dave Matthews Band...They are musical geniuses, you can hear it in their song writing. However, As like Phish, I feel their scene has gone down too preppy highschool kids who don't TRULY understand the music.... Peace and Love, Dan
I agree that the Dave scene has become totally preppy. I saw DMB in KS last week and almost everyone at the show were abercrombie zombies. I felt very out of place, very looked at. Maybe it was just shroomtrippin me, who knows?? When I saw them in Denver 4 years ago it was completely the opposite.
i always respected dmb's musical ability and how well those guys knew their instruments, its the respect outside of the music i lost for them. they sold out big time to an audience who had no idea what they were listening to, and their music began to go downhill.
I have and always will love Dave Matthews Band. I don't care what other kind of people like them. The fact is that I like them. Nothing is going to change my opinion. Ever.
