are there any complications/things to consider when tattooing darker skin? Is it worth getting colour tattoos, or just stick with black ink?
the one thing to consider that many people dont understand, is tattooing isnt like drawing on the skin, yet the ink is under transparent skin, so yes some colours work much better with pale skin. just consult a tattooist with your ideas and see what he/she says. many colours can work fine with dark skin colours, but going to an artist would be the best idea
I had a guy friend who was DARK....I mean he was like coal. He wanted the typical military man tattoo....an Eagle and an American flag incorporated into it. It looked BEAUTIFUL! All the colors showed up and it's still just as vibrant today (almost 2 years later) as it was the day he got it done.
have you thought of an all white tatt??? they look pretty cool and a little bit diff to the normal all black ribal tats you see
