Why does that make me think of Dot Cotton? :X

Tis weird since they are supposed to need LESS sleep when they get older... I think they are hatching devious plans..

Or evesdropping on private conversations! :&

It's a very simple reason, but one that seems to evade most people for some reason. You see, because of the zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i dunno perhaps they have lost the will to live after becomeing nothing but a menace to society so they just sleep all day in a vain attempt to die?

or maybe the buggers are just listening in to conversations

and I would ask why is it that at lunch times in particular, that old people gate crash every supermarket?

Can't the council do a night shopping bus service for the old people. They all get on a bus when everyone else is at home and the old people can go shopping. I heard Tesco is open 24 hour in Lewisham now.

There's one open 24 hours here as well, but it's unfortunately in the worst part of the area, the part that no one but brave drunken souls wants to venture to after dark in the first place.

I like your bus idea though. Top notch! :)

I know a lot of old people feel intimidated by a lot of young people. It is interesting going to Tesco at 5am. They have all the newspapers stacked up ready to be sold. The milk has arrived aswell as the other pallets.

Used to work in Safeway Blackheath Village. everything went well until I messed things up in my personal life. Got prison time.

Unlike younger people, older people have weaker bowls so have frequent commodes. They also get forced to sit in smelly nursing homes in the summer when the sun is really blazy!

Old people have done a lot for us. They fought in the war and for the freedom we take for granted. Lets give old people a break. That is the least we 21st Century ultra modern youngsters can do.:playnice:

One of my favourite things about old people, is they choose the cutest little dogs. I saw one today and the tiny dog was too tired. Got picked up by this old person. Melted my heart.

There's a great game you can do in supermarkets. If you see a collection of old people in an aisle you send your laden trolley down the aisle, ten-pin bowling style and see how many you can get over at once. What's more this makes it easier to then steal their wallets!

I like the way old people are sometimes mistaken for the cast in Thriller. Once I was in a supermarket and there was a fair few old people gathered around the fromagerie and had this old tape with speaker player. I had mj's thriller album on it and then the idea came along to start blaring out Thriller. Suddenly old people surrounded me, curiously. Only way out of this was to dance but as this wasn't the movies, I moonwalked into the bread isle The old people had got their cheeses, mature farm house cheddar or rocfort and floated over to the meat department.

Still we will be old soon. I hope to die when i am fifty.

Old people fought for anti-facism and free speech but yet many tell you to shut up and go home lol. Also old people are so like young people, both on lots of drugs, argue a lot, etc

Yeah, and all they have to do is sit around and drink whiskey all day, and yet they STILL complain..!! I'd pay to sit around and drink whiskey all day!
