Man are people stuck in a rut. They're still on this 'God Bless America' thing every 7th inning, and it's been five years since 911.

This is monotonous. Surely there have to be other patriotic songs besides this one. Might as well go back to 'Take Me Out To The Ballgame'.

I agree - at first I thought you were another patriot nutter - glad theres some sense out there ! Notice all the so called patriots are the ones moaning because the government never gave them a silver spoon to put in their kids mouths. The patriots are those who both say god bless america and down with our government

meanwhile back in reality the CIA are running their country and no-one can do a damn thing about it

Apparently not in Cleveland. LOL. I went to a few games this year and they always played "Take me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.

This might be more of a TV producer's call than the stadium's call though. I'm sure the fans would rather sing the ball game song.

The series ended at game five, so at least we don't have to listen to it 6 or 7 times.

Yeah, but God Bless America became the rage around the country for the 7th inning song after 911. It's been five years now since 911. It's time to move on to new things. I don't think we want to be here 20 years from now with the same song and yellow ribbons all over our cars.

    So was I.

It might have been the producers filming the World Series that made the call to play God Bless America.

The first part of my comment was just in general. The second part was pertaining to the world series.
