Such an amazing movie, especially crows, where he ventures into the mind and soul of van gogh, i recommend anybody who is interested in altered states of mind (like dreaming) to find and watch this masterpeice
yeah,that was one of the great films in my life.because akira tells about nature and people's destroying.but it never overshadows his art and the fantastic and weird atmosphere of the film
I love that part in the movie when the young man is talking to the old man, and he asks why there is no electricity in the village where the old man lives (or something to that effect), and what do they do at night, and the old man says that the night is supposed to be dark. haha, pure genius.
I loved the story about the boy who witnessed the wedding of the foxes and he was disowned by his family lest they all suffer the foxes' wrath.. What I find interesting is that these short stories are said to be Kurosawa's dreams themselves...
