party and people drinking...me doing shrooms?

Yeah drunk people are boring to talk to, it would be no fun nor enlightening to shroom in a situation like that. I think you made the right choice.

 

i think drinking starts out fun but then when you in the drunk mode its sucks. i tend to feel like nothing can stop me and i can do whatever i want and not feel bad about it. i use the "im drunk" excuse which is why i have decided to never drink to get drunk again. i all up for the occasional drink like one, but drinking isnt all that fun anymore.

 

Depends on your doseage. I think they'd assume that you were drunk more than high. I think you'd fit in right, but you might have a bad trip with clotted up thoughts of the people. Use you head!

 

man, all the time i go to parties after eatting like 2 or 3 fair sized caps, its like being baked and drunk and you get to see some pretty colours. you feel awesome, always happy cause its hard to have a bad trip on such low doses, and you are really social and hungry.

 

i'd think it'd be fun if the people were happy or lovey drunks, but i'd hate to see a drunk fight or some really slutty girl and a boy with a nice girlfriend making out, which are both inevitable at parties. i have friends who get really deep and smart and honest and loving when they're drunk. the good kind of drunk who goes on adventures. those kind of drunks would probably love to hang out with someone tripping... but otherwise... good choice.

 

It's alright to do psychedelics around a bunch of drunk fucks. It's just another experience that you gain a new viewpoint of.

 

you're right, but you learn a pretty depressing truth and that kind of experience isn't what *most* people look for... if truly expanding your mind to all limits no matter what it takes is your goal then hell yeah, expose yourself to all the shitty situations you can. but those kinds of things usually happen enough by happenstance.

 

I've done LSD once at a kickin' party at a cabin where everyone else except for my brother was drunk off their ass. It gave me a new idea of drunkedness. The idea of me tripping really hard on a psychedelic, with my composure so radically different from the drunken bastards walking around, gave me new views about the party scene in my locale as well as drinking in general. I say give it a shot, I still had a really great time. Just make sure there are outlets from the party, for example I took tons of walks outside of the cabin all by myself or with my brother. You need to make sure that you have ways to get away.
