I haven't seen any thread like that either, but you could talk about here if you like. I've never heard of poi, could you tell us more about it?
hi everyone, woodsman poi is spinning 2 balls around on string in formations to make pretty patterns, thats my way of explaining it anyway for a better explanation check out homeofpoi.com its excellent mind work i love it, looks easy but a lot of practice goes into it..honest!
well there ya go, youve learned something new! so do you work in wood?? i like wood alot too so id be interested to hear what u do and maybe see some pics
Yeah, I was a carpenter many years ago, I'm considering going back into that line of work ( but what I would really like to do is open my own independent publishing house). However, I picked this username as a reference to woodland lifestyle here in the Appalachian Mountains.
Wow. That's pretty neato -that poi-thing there. The closest I'd get to doing something like that is crocheing, and I'm still in the process of perfecting it as well. I really like your rendition of the chesire cat there -he's like, my favorite of most Disney characters -so cute and eccentric -just like me! anyway, hope you have fun on the site, nice meeting you. Peace.

Welcome Jenny. Your post reminds me of my days in Key West, Florida. At sunset, down by the water, there were many artisans to see. They did all manner of neat tricks and illusions. It was a great party there every night, so many talented souls.
that sounds kool, i love neat tricks and illusions im really interested in learning sum magic but not enough hours in a day! thanks for the welcome
