i looked at those too... dunno if you saw the honeycomb ones, they look the same, only the front of the bowl has this crazy honeycomb type thing set under the clear glass... theyre alot more $ though. i ended up getting something different because these seem to be mass produced, and im not down with getting a bowl like that. still, its nice for something like that, but id look for something made in some kinda studio, if i was gonna spend that much, but thats just me. i just ordered one from northwest.... should be here in about a week... cant wait!!!
carbs can be either side, or almost anywhere really...although i'd say that a majority of pipes have it on the left side of the bowl (at least a majority of the pipes I've owned and used are that way). I did own a great sherlock, until my buddy knocked it off the table and it broke in two. This sherlock had the carb on the right side, so you just operated it with your index finger instead of your thumb. I think the reason for this usual placement has to do with the fact that most people hold the pipe in their left hand and thus its very easy to use your thumb. Some people do hold pipes in their right hand (i think mostly left handed folks) thus the carb is there to facilitate their use.
Carbs could be on any side of the front. I got a fish pipe (MY FAVORITE PIPE) where the carb is in front. Very hard hitter.
dude i was so close to buying that exact pipe from grasscity.com but my connection fell through.. i had all the money 2 i was so dissappointed when i found out i couldnt get it.. its such a tight bowl
they make left handed ones now......that would of been so much better for me cuz i got a right handed one
i have one like that but with more intersting design. The flat mouthpeice is very nice, hits clean. I call mine the bazooka
