well, since i last grew indoors i used mazar (afghani+skunk) and oasis (northern light #2) from dutch passion. anywho the seeds were great and ive got something like 5 of each left in tip top condition in my freezer (in airtight packs ofcourse :D).

anyway im allready preparing for my spring OUTSIDE operation and im curently deciding which few other strains to get. ^ ive read that those 2 are best indoors but are ready for harvest early november. now that is abit crap since im from england and by november its fairly chilly. so ive picked early misty and hollands hope from nirvana. theyre ready for harvest mid-late september so its great timing.
anyone have any experience with these strains or advise of which i should use??
i picked nervana since theire quete cheap (15eu or £10.50 for 10), well cheaper
than DS anyway. so opinions, advice etc????

I've read of very few sucessful outdoor grows in the UK.
And not just because of early winters.
Marijuana needs more intense sunlight/temps throughout it's life than the UK and most of N. Europe recieve.

Btw, you may have killed your seeds by freezing them.

cant be, first of all many guides say to freeze them, including indoor bible by jorge cervantes. and i had them in the freezer in their packaging sealed in a sandwhich bag, rooled up and ducked taped before i even tried germinating em first time, most of the seeds germinated and i recently opened them up to see if they looked ok and the seeds looked fine.

    Okay guys... here goes.
Marijuana can definately grow in the UK. You can even grow some of the best weed you'll ever get. The outdoors mj get many more lumens from the sun than from any hps. Only thing is, that you should take some early flowering strains such as Hollands hope. A pure sativa will not finish before frost, but a lot of strains will grow perfectly in the outdoors uk I've grown in northern part of Denmark for 15 years, and my best crop is definately the outdoor one. I can yeeld so much from each plant easy.
Yes your seeds can definately be frozen (they'll do that in the Afghani mountains as well) I store my seed just in a small bag in a drawer and they all sprout. Remember it's weed. It'll grow anywhere. More care equals more and better bud.

yo em in addition to this i also intend on growing in the uk very soon . i've never grown outside before and have been told by many ppl that its hard to grow here. also i've been told that the uk's daylight is to much for the plants to go into flowering. so i been told to get a auto flowering plant eg. lowryder, but i dun want lowryder . i intend on planting a few skunk#1 in mid april and hopeing to harvest around the start of october.
any tips or advice is welcome!!! theres no problem with the heat here its just enough during the night so the plants dont get affected from the cold! just the plant going into flowering is my worry. so if any uk growers or any growers atall no whats best for me or the other dude here then feel free to give advice!!!!!! cheers dave

Try stupersonic finishes first or second week of september its meant to be stronger than most outdoor strains. Top of my list although expensive at £60 for ten seeds.
I wouldn't go with lowrider as you will only get a quarter of mediocre weed per plant. If you get a plant that starts may1 and finishes mid september, ten ounces per plant is eaily achieved.
